Welcome
Books-for-China Fund (BFCF) is an organization founded by Professor John T. Ma in 2004. The purpose of the organization is to collect books and academic files from individuals, retired scholars, libraries and publishers in the U. S. and donate them to universities in China. By doing so, we are:
- Promoting U.S.-China cultural relations,
- Preserving valuable private collections of scholars, professors, other individuals, and archives of institutions,
- Making good use of books discarded by individuals, libraries and publishers.
We collect books in all academic subjects, from text books, reference books, literature works to professional journals and conference proceedings, regardless their years of publications and languages.
Since our establishment in December 2004, BFCF has shipped three containers of books to China, over 50,000 books have been received by over a dozen of universities in China.
BFCF is a non-profit organization. All people working for BFCF are volunteers. We welcome all kinds of supports, be it funds, books, or human power. All contributions to BFCF are tax deductible.
